Economic Order Quantity for Growing Items with Mortality Function under Sustainable Green Breeding Policy

Determining the optimal slaughter age of fast-growing animals regarding mortality rates and breeding costs plays an important major role for companies that benefit from their meat. Additionally, effects carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions during growth cycle are a significant concern governments. This study proposes economic order quantity (EOQ) growing items with function under sustainable green policy. It assumes CO2 production is practical polynomial depends on as well function. The aim model to determine number newborn chicks, purchased supplier, minimize total costs. We propose analytical approach, five simple steps, find solutions. Finally, we provide numerical example some management insights help practitioners in this area.
